Tribute to the national press; leadership hailed

Manama, May 6 (BNA): The media community will tomorrow mark the Bahrain Press Day, which falls annually on May 7.
Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) seized the occasion to salute the press affiliates for serving the nation with utmost dedication and responsibility and supporting Bahrain’s development and progress.In a statement today, it extended thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for appreciating and honouring the press community in all occasion in recognition of their vital national role.
It also paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for their efforts to promote the fourth estate in Bahrain.
