Shura delegation to participate in “Manama Declaration” launch in Los Angeles

Manama, Sep. 9 (BNA): A Shura Council delegation, led by the Second Deputy Chairperson, Jameela Ali Salman, will take part in the “This Is Bahrain” conference and exhibition to launch the “Bahrain Declaration Document”, to be signed in Los Angeles city, State of California, USA, on September 13.
The delegation’s participation is in line with the directives of the Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, to take part in external events that highlight the kingdom’s civilisational image, inform the world about the pioneering achievements attained under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous era and shed light on the country’s harmonious social texture that believes in peaceful co-existence, religious freedom and mutual respect.

The delegation also includes Shura members Hala Ramzi Fayez, Sayed Dhiya Yahya Al-Musawi, Sameer Sadiq Al-Baharna, Dr. Said Ahmed Abdulla, as well as Dr. Fawziya Yussef Al-Jeeb and Wafa Mohammed Al-Thawadi, from the council’s Secretariat-General.

The delegation will hold a press conference to highlight Bahrain’s landmark achievements under HM the King’s Reform Project in various fields. It will shed light on the citizens’ gains, co-existence among religions, as well as youth and women accomplishments.

The Shura Council and its Secretariat-General had participated in the previous “This Is Bahrain” events in many countries, within the framework of the pivotal role played by the Legislative Branch in the kingdom to serve the nation and the citizens in political, economic, social and human rights fields.
