RCO's investment towers opened

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): HM the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has lauded the great support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RCO’s Honorary President, to humanitarian and charitable work.HM the King is the first supporter of humanitarian and charitable work through his kind initiatives on all occasions, praising the royal directives to provide all kinds of support to Bahraini orphans and widows, Shaikh Nasser said, praising the king’s constant interest to ensure a permanent source of income for RCO and strengthen its financial status so as to benefit society, in general, and its affiliates, in particular.

Shaikh Nasser made the statements during the opening of RCO’s two investment towers (Abraj Al-Khair), in the presence of senior state officials, ministers and officials from various government departments.

Shaikh Nasser extended heartfelt thanks, appreciation and gratitude to HM King Hamad for his unwavering interest in providing all kinds of support and care for orphans, widows and needy people, noting that HM the King had donated a land lot in the Sanabis region to construct the two towers to ensure a better future for RCO’s affiliates.

Shaikh Nasser also hailed the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

Shaikh Nasser stressed that Bahrain is a humanitarian and charitable work leader, and therefore RCO, thanks to royal directives, will continue providing its services in a creative way, noting that the opening of the two investment towers, whose revenues will benefit RCO-supported families, reflects HM the King’s great interest in providing all kinds of services for the citizens nationwide.

RCO Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King and to Shaikh Nasser for their incessant support to RCO so as to be able to deliver the best services for needy people from all segments of the Bahraini society.

The 23-storey towers are part of RCO’s charitable and development projects aimed at improving the standards of living of its affiliates, as well as at diversifying its financial resources.
