Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee appreciated the big role played by Real Madrid Academy in Bahrain in improving the skills and talents of young students and promoting the values and morals of football sport.

The statements of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa came during his reception of Mustafa Al Sayed, General Secretary of the Royal Charity Organisation and a delegation of Real Madrid Academy on Thursday.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was briefed about the latest achievements and programmes of the academy during the past years. He lauded the humanitarian initiative of Real Madrid Academy to support orphans and widows in the Kingdom, asserting that it is an initiative to benefit the needy and provide them with sufficient support to develop their personal lives.

It’s worth mentioning that the Royal Charity Organisation and Real Madrid Academy signed an agreement to renew the contract between the academy and the renowned Spanish club Real Madrid. The renewal came as a result of the success of the academy in its first years of operation in Bahrain, being operated by the Royal Charity Organisation in cooperation with Bahrain Football Association.

The academy was included within the strategies of the Royal Charity Organisation to provide the people under the care of the organisation with decent lives, health, educational and sports services.
