Preparation for Bahrain Declaration, King Hamad Global Centre

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the next ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN”, event will be held in Los Angeles, California, USA. In mid-August, “THIS IS BAHRAIN” Los Angeles, will hold an Exhibition, Dinner and Press Conference to officially launch ‘The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration’ and ‘The King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence” which will complement the launch of the King Hamad Chair in Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence at Sapienza University in Rome.
As well as an exhibition featuring the Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Sikh and Hindu communities, portraying the Kingdom’s outstanding religious freedom, a Dinner and Press Conference featuring high -level attendees from international media, religious leaders, ambassadors, senators, celebrities, and community leaders will be held.

We would like to share with you more details about “THE KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN DECLARATION. It is a Document that commits to promoting religious freedom for all, in the spirit of mutual respect and love, leading to peaceful co-existence and the eradication of extremism, and is modelled on the visionary leadership philosophy of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Following on from ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” in Los Angeles, the next ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” event will be held here in Bahrain, in mid November 2017. During a very special ceremony dedicated to the launch of “The King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue & Peaceful Co-Existence,” ” The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration” will be signed by Heads of State, Religious Leaders and Dignitaries at a special Ceremony to be held here in Manama.

As the worlds top Religious Leaders congregate in Bahrain to sign “The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration” and announce the inauguration of “The King Hamad Global Centre”, this will affirm on a global basis, that The Kingdom of Bahrain is now the world’s centre for all important Meetings, Dialogues, and Conferences related to bringing peace and harmony amongst all Faiths and to the eradication of terrorism, extremism and the radicalisation of young people.

“The King Hamad Global Centre’ will be a newly built facility on land which is donated by His Majesty The King and will include a Museum to showcase the centuries old legacy of Bahrain’s religious freedom and peaceful–coexistence.

The Kingdom of Bahrain is home to many Churches of all denominations, and many Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist Temples and Synagogues and hundreds of Mosques that serve the needs of the country’s multi-cultural, multi-faith populace.

Currently, the construction of the Our Lady of Arabia Cathedral the largest Church ever built on the Arabian Peninsula, is taking place on land donated by His Majesty The King, and will be housed alongside a new Mosque, clear evidence of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s willingness to retain and expand its position as the region’s leading light for religious freedom and peaceful.
