King congratulates French President-elect

Manama, May 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to French President-elect Emmanuel Macron marking his victory in Sunday’s presidential polls. HM the King extended most sincere congratulations to President-elect, wishing him every success in his duties to achieve the aspirations and wishes of the friendly French people towards more progress and prosperity. HM the King hailed outstanding historic relations and steadily-growing cooperation in all fields, adding that Bahrain looks forward to strengthening joint ties.
