Indonesian President receives credentials of Bahraini ambassador

Jakarta, Apr. 4 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Sheikho presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, at the State Palace in Jakarta as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Indonesia.

During the meeting, the Bahraini Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to the President of Indonesia.

He also affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to consolidate the distinguished ties of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Indonesia and to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields.

For his part, Joko Widodo welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Indonesia and wished him success in his new duties that will benefit both countries and peoples. (MOFA)
