HRH Premier hails royal initiative

Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa extended deepest thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for launching “Khalifa Town” to designate the Southern Town housing projects, which include Askar, Jau, Al-Dur and their suburbs. He paid tribute to HM the King for the initiative which, he said, reflects deep meanings, good feelings and royal loyalty to all dedicated efforts to serve the nation and achieve prosperity. HRH the Premier hailed the royal initiative as catalyst to exert more dedicated efforts to serving the homeland, led by HM the King, to ensure citizens’ well-being, decent living standards and premium services in all fields.
He reiterated the Government’s firm resolve to carry out the royal directives to provide decent housing to citizens, who deserve all the best, stressing keenness on upgrading services. “The Government understands the crucial importance of housing, the cornerstone of citizens’ decent living conditions”, he said, describing housing as a top strategic priority.
He underlined the Government’s endeavor, through development projects, to build a society that provides citizens with secure, stable and motivating environment. “Citizens’ welfare, happiness and serenity represent a top priority on the Government’s strategic plans, programmes and visions, despite economic challenges which take their toll on development in the region and the world”, he said.
