HM King receives letter from Algeria's President

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today at Safriya Palace, received Algeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Abdelkader Messahel who handed over a letter from President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the solid bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments of joint interest.
The Algerian Foreign Minister conveyed to HM the King greetings of the Algerian President and to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people wishes of more development and prosperity.

HM the King stressed the depth of the Bahraini-Algerian relations, noting keenness to boost them in various areas in the interest of the two countries and their people. He underlined the role of exchanging visits in reinforcing cooperation and consultation between the two countries.

HM the King lauded Algeria’s role, led by President Bouteflika, in defending Arab causes and keenness to bolster solidarity among Arab countries.

Developments at the regional and international level were also discussed.
